For an hour each Thursday, meet a creative community and experiment with mark-making and drawing techniques inspired by theatrical history.
These sessions are a mindful and relaxing introduction to expressing yourself creatively, while unwinding from your busy week.
We will explore a variety of materials and methods drawing inspiration from the stage, each week we will study a still life, using props from Norwich Theatre productions, as well as fun and accessible exercises, techniques, and skills you can use in your own creative practice. The workshops are designed for all levels of drawing experience. Whether you are a novice or an experienced artist, you’ll learn new techniques and gain confidence in your ability to create.
These are low pressure sessions, and are about enjoyment, and setting aside an hour a week for creativity as much as developing drawing skills.
