Theatre Cares - A Life in Music
This event is in the past
Theatre Cares – A Life in Music is an exciting new participatory programme for people living with mild to moderate dementia and their carers. Music can improve the wellbeing of people living with dementia and can also be a positive shared experience between loved ones. Join us for fortnightly music workshops that will explore a different focus each week, from singing and song-writing, to getting hands on with drums, chimes, and stringed and small percussion instruments.
This project is an exciting collaboration between Musical Keys and Norwich Theatre to explore music in all its forms. We will provide a safe space for people to have fun with experienced practitioners. All workshops will be very relaxed and set to a leisurely paced with a small number of participants to allow for maximum contact with practitioners. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided!
Participants are also invited to join the reputable English Touring Opera for a music-based workshop with their fantastic musicians.
