MACONDO is an Autoteatro (self-performed) show inspired by Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude, combining instruction-based theatre, binaural sound, and poetic writing to create a unique theatre experience.
Choosing between four different levels of interaction – Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, and Hero – the participants follow different audio tracks that steer their path through the show.
MACONDO appears for fifty minutes in an empty theatre and takes the shape of the people that inhabit it, wrapped up in a predetermined fate.

The wheel has been set in motion and only the fool thinks he can stop it. He jumped head-first into the abyss.
The Hermit, the Sun, and Death are drawn out. The Magus is watching and the Hanged Man sleeps like a cat: with one eye open.
