Film Screening: Lockdown Portraits

Close

This event has passed.

In 2020, Sir Robert Cohan created his final work for the stage, Afternoon Conversations with Dancers. During lockdown, these solos were filmed in stunning locations by award-winning documentary filmmaker David Stewart.

The film became titled, Lockdown Portraits—seven intimate, choreographed conversations telling personal, yet universal, stories of isolation, loss and, ultimately, survival. The screening will be followed by a conversation with Yorke Dance Project artistic director, Yolande Yorke-Edgell.
