Our three venues open their doors to families of all shapes and sizes for our Family Festival between 26 – 31 Jul. It will be a creative adventure like no other and a chance for you and your family to get crafty, be silly and simply have fun.

There are many free activities throughout the week on top of the bookable activities you might already have tickets for. So you might be thinking, ‘where do I start?’ Don’t worry. We have a full guide of the free activities for each day, so you don’t miss out.

The festival opens at 10am – If you need to plan where to park or which bus to hop on, click here. And don’t worry, Café Royal will also be open so that you can start your day off right we a hot drink.

Throughout the week, you will have the opportunity to Grow Your Own Beanstalk and join our pantomime hero Jack in the Kingdom of the Giants! Sprinkle the magic dust and work on decorating your jar before you take it home to grow. For Norfolk Day, we invite you to make your mark on Our County Map, take a tag and tell us why you love Norfolk.

You will also be able to set up camp for a bite to eat with your packed lunch or one of our special Family Festival Meal Deals. As you eat, there will be roaming musicians and magicians to entertain and delight!

We expect young children to laugh, shout out, get up and sometimes cry if you need to leave any of the sessions that is ok. However, to help during the week, we will have a dedicated Quiet Zone which is a perfect place to take a breather from all the excitement.

Check out the free activities below on each day of the festival.
