Judges for the next stage of the Ghost Light poetry challenge have now been confirmed. The selection features  Luke Wright, the Young Norfolk Laureate and more members of the local arts community. The panel will be tasked with selecting three winning poems, which will be displayed across our three buildings when they re-open to the public. The full list of judges are as follows:

Ryan Taaffe-Fowle (Young Norfolk Laureate 2020)
Poppy Stevens (Actor, Poet, Community Theatre Facilitator)
Chris Gribble (CEO National Centre for Writing)
Luke Wright (Poet, Theatre-maker)
Sam Ruddock (Director, Story Machines)
Richard Hand (Head of Drama UEA)
Wendy Ellis (Learning & Participation Director, Norwich Theatre)
Nina Nannar (Arts Editor ITN)
Sally-Anne Lomas (Writer, Filmmaker, Artist)

Wendy Ellis from Norwich Theatre said: “The standard of poetry has been incredible and it has been a joy to read these entries as they have been submitted. I have really admired the creativity that the Norfolk community have shown during lockdown. I am thrilled to have such a wonderful group of judges join us on this project and help select the winners.”

Supported by the National Centre for Writing, Ghost Light was created to help us commemorate the time our doors were closed to the public and performances were unable to take place. At the end of the project, our goal is to release a special book featuring all of the work submitted.
