The Easter holidays are just around the corner and we have a host of creative fun and great shows for all the family. Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they go through the wardrobe to Narnia in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Theatre Royal between 5 and 9 April. The nation’s favourite book stars Samantha Womack as the White Witch and features some of the most breathtaking puppetry that you might ever see on stage.

To celebrate this magical show, we have some fun activities based on The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe themes taking place on 5 and 8 April.

Delve into our dressing up box and let your imagination run wild. Play Your Way is a free drop-in activity so feel free to take the time to create your own stories with the power of fancy dress and puppets!

Our Imagination Workshops let your child’s imagination run wild. This workshop is suitable for children aged 8-11 years and any younger siblings are welcome to visit Play Your Way in the main house at no extra cost.

Tots, Tales and Dramas will captivate 2-4 year olds with stories and imaginative play. Any younger siblings are welcome at no additional cost.

Round off the day with a trip to Café Royal for a drink and cake. Anyone attending one of the Easter fun activities will get double stamps on their Café Royal loyalty card.

At Norwich Theatre Playhouse, join the tea-guzzling tiger in The Tiger Who Came to Tea between 8 and 10 April. This delightful family show is packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos! The Smartest Giant in Town follows, between 16 and 18 April. This heart-warming tale about friendship and helping those in need is brought to life in a musical, puppet-filled adventure.

Travel to the Yorkshire Moors as Wuthering Heights is brought to life on the stage. Great for teens and adults alike, this show combines the power, passion, and wisdom for a high octane evening that captures the love and anger pulsing through Brontë’s novel. Wuthering Heights comes to Norwich Theatre Royal from 12 to 16 April.

Finish the school holidays with a bang and watch Magic Goes Wrong between 19 -23 April at Theatre Royal. Back with their biggest comedy catastrophe to date, multi-award-winning Mischief (The Play That Goes Wrong) return to the stage with their hilarious new show created with magic legends, Penn & Teller.
