Due to the ongoing pandemic we are unfortunately unable to deliver our intended programme of learning and participatory activities from September onwards in a manner that would ensure a quality of experience and the safety of all involved. As a result, we will be offering an alternative and reduced package between Oct to Dec that we hope will be of interest until a time when we know we can recommence a fuller program.
The new programme is part of our During the Interval series and will include a combination of onsite activity at Norwich Playhouse and remote activity delivered online. For the time being, the new plans will be in place for the autumn term and we will continue to review our risk assessments and respond to government guidance as necessary.
The plans below have been put together following discussions with participants and practitioners as well as taking into account guidance from the Government, Public Health England and the NHS. Our overarching priority is the safety of all involved at all times.
COURSES TRANSFERRING ONLINE: SEP – DEC
The following courses will be transferred to online provision, delivered by ZOOM. We will be supporting all participants to ensure that they are able to access this new provision.
- Writing for Performance (2 replacement sessions)
- Introduction to Scriptwriting
We are currently looking into online and alternative delivery options for the below annual courses and therefore currently still accepting applications. As soon as we have confirmed plans we will update our website and contact all applicants.
The following courses are currently pending confirmation from the exam boards & practitioners. We are likely to move these courses online and we will be in touch with participants as soon as we have confirmed this.

COURSES MOVING TO NORWICH THEATRE PLAYHOUSE
These sessions will take place on the stage at Norwich Playhouse. Group numbers will be capped to ensure we can deliver these safely. Day and times of delivery will remain the same.
