A message from Norwich Theatre as Plan B comes to an end

An update to our COVID measures

Norwich Theatre remains absolutely committed to the safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers. While the need remains, we stand firm in our support of all efforts to combat COVID-19 and we ask our visitors to support us by adhering to the safety measures we have put in place.

As Plan B restrictions come to an end and in line with advice to the public issued by the Government, we will return to the Plan A measures that we previously had in place, which include an enhanced cleaning regime, air purifiers and hand sanitisers throughout the buildings, and a misting system in the auditorium.

We strongly encourage the use of face masks for customers and visitors, except those under the age of 11 or who are medically exempt, at all times in the theatre, unless eating or drinking. Staff and volunteers will continue to wear face masks for visitor safety.

We are minimising queues in the venues by opening doors to the auditorium 30 minutes prior to the performance and by encouraging pre-ordering interval drinks. Norwich Theatre Duty Managers and Stewards are on hand at all times to answer any questions.

We request that any audience members who have displayed COVID-19 symptoms, had a positive test or been told to self-isolate by NHS Track and Trace prior to the performance, do not attend and instead contact our Box Office on 01603 630 000.

We are grateful to our audiences and visitors for supporting the COVID-secure modifications we have made at Norwich Theatre during the pandemic.
